Edward is a well respected force for good in the Dallas community, who has earned the respect and valued consult of multiple administrations in Austin and Washington, DC. Edward's positive advocacy to better connect the community stretches back to the 1990's, when then Governor Bush's administration commended his vision and thoughtfulness after the passage of the historic telecommunications bill HB-2128. The bill was designed to help schools, libraries and hospitals obtain and offer innovative services such as distance learning and telemedicine.
Edward is a Nigerian-American Entrepreneur, commercial real estate Broker, economic development practitioner and Dallas businessman who is a three-time mayoral candidate for Mayor of Dallas. He was Mayor Kirk’s appointee to the City of Dallas Permit and License Appeal Board, served on the Dallas County Appraisal Review Board and is also currently on the Texas Board of the US Selective Service Systems as a permanent board member. In 2019, He was appointed by Export-Import Bank of the United States as a member of the 2019 sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee.
